delicious food super clean room coffee making warm room slamming doors creaky floorboards
the food in the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was included. the room was lovely, with nice decorations. it was super clean and had toiletries and coffee making facilities.
The room was a little warm at night. I couldn't seem to change it. doors slamming shut along the corridor disturbed sleep. very creaky floorboards existed even though the room was in a more modern wing.

a decent stay

fine room woodland trail delicious food high fee slamming doors creaky floorboards
the room was fine, i stayed in a feature double room! the woodland trail provided a relaxing experience. the food stood out as one of the best meals i have ever enjoyed.
The car parking fee was quite high. It cost £12.00 to park on the grounds. doors were slamming shut along the corridor, disrupting sleep. i found the floorboards to be very creaky, even in the 'modern' wing.

broken blind damp smell
The staff changed our room when i mentioned my wife has arthritis. It was closer and had fewer steps.
i found the room to be quite dated. the bathroom had a broken blind and bath panel, which wasn't great (it's annoying). the room had a damp smell, so it wasn't a very pleasant experience.
